Ring in the holiday season with the lighting of the great tree outside City Hall. Then, enjoy free activities and shop for gifts at the Holiday Market.
Tree Lighting Ceremony
Wednesday, November 16
6–8 p.m., O'Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall)
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Join Mayor Bill Hennessy in officially welcoming Santa to O’Fallon as we count down to the lighting of our spectacular tree outside City Hall. Once the thousands of sparkling lights brighten up the winter darkness, make holiday memories with tons of family-friendly activities and a chance to meet with jolly old St. Nick himself!
While your children enjoy holiday games and contests, parents can take a stroll through our Holiday Market and shop for festive home décor and unique artisan creations. Add a little cheer to your evening with hot drinks, treats and snacks while you search for that perfect gift for your loved ones!
In the spirit of giving, please bring donations of canned and boxed food and personal care items to share with area residents through our local food pantries. New, cold-weather accessories will also be collected for those in need this winter.
Some of the magic of the Tree Lighting Ceremony occurs outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather!
- Celebration of Lights and Old-Fashioned Holiday Stroll tickets available for purchase
- Giving Tree donations – for donations of new hats, gloves and scarfs
- Cornucopia of Care food drive
