The 3rd Annual Junior Citizens Police Academy will announce its 2020 program dates later this spring.
Kids and teenagers who want to learn about real-life police work are invited to enroll in the City of O’Fallon’s 2nd annual Junior Citizens Police Academy (JCPA). The program will be taught by O’Fallon Police officers, and it will meet from 5–7 p.m. once a week for four weeks at the O'Fallon Justice Center. Meeting dates for both sessions (ages 8–11 and ages 12–15) and a parent/child orientation meeting will be available soon.
Topics to be covered include:
- Patrol operations
- Fitness and nutrition
- Police Department Career Pathways
- Crisis Intervention Response
- Tour of the Justice Center
Upon registering, parents will receive an informational packet with additional details. The course cost is $30. Class space is limited, but spots are still available! To register, fill out the Junior CPA Application below.
