Senior Citizens Police Academy

Seniors who are interested in law enforcement issues are invited to attend the free O’Fallon Police Department’s Senior Citizens Police Academy 2018. Beginning June 5, classes will meet from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the month at the O’Fallon Senior Center, 106 North Main Street.

No registration is necessary and all seniors are welcome. Attendance is encouraged at every session but not required for completing the program. Taught by the O’Fallon Police Department, the topics are geared to senior interests.

• June 14 – O’Fallon Police K9 Demo
• June 19 – Drug Take-back program, Crisis Intervention Team, Social Media
     and Police Dispatch
• June 21 – Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Response
• June 26 – Elder Abuse and Neglect
• June 28 – Home Safety and Emergency Preparedness; Graduation
