Attend this free, hands-on workshop on disaster preparedness! People from all walks of life are invited to learn basic disaster response skills through O’Fallon’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. The O’Fallon Police Department’s course will cover disaster preparation and survival, disaster psychology, basic medical treatment, terrorism, fire safety and light search and rescue. Classes meet
from 6–10 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Participants completing the course will be able to keep valuable training materials for reference and participate in additional free training each month.
