Community Programs

Neighborhood Watch

Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program that enlists the active participation of citizens in cooperation with law enforcement to reduce crime in our communities.

What does it involve?

  • Neighbors getting to know each other and working together in a program of mutual assistance.
  • Citizens being trained to recognize and report suspicious activities in their neighborhoods.
  • Implementation of crime prevention techniques, such as home security.

How can I get involved?

Contact the O'Fallon Police Department to obtain information on existing programs in your neighborhood. If there is not an active Neighborhood Watch group in your area, the police department can assist you in starting a program.

Remember to call the police department immediately to report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood.
