Upcoming Productions

The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree

Thursday and Friday, June 16–17, 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 18, 2 and 7 p.m.

Synopsis: As Captain Bree and her lady pirates sail toward the Kayla May to board her, the Kayla May’s crew panics and jumps overboard except for one sailor who can’t swim. To protect the ship’s wealthy clients, the Kayla May’s captain orders all ship’s prisoners released and appoints them as the replacement crew. While the inexperienced group does its best to cope, the Lady Pirates swarm aboard and the situation changes from funny to hysterical, with some great singing and dancing to an outstanding score by Bill Francoeur.

The Crisis of Captain Cross

Friday, June 10, 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 11, 2 and 7 p.m.

Synopsis: Welcome aboard! When a jolly pirate crew takes in the survivors of their latest conquest, they clear the way for unlikely friendships but also dangerous revenge. Boo as the villain attempts to take over the ship, and cheer as the hero thwarts his dastardly plan! There are laughs for everyone in this old-fashioned melodrama, complete with olio or variety acts and a swashbuckling ending. The Junior Theatre program for ages 7–11 will present this original sea-faring melodrama written exclusively for the OTW Youth Program and directed by Emily McClaine.
