Spring projects cropping up for volunteers of all ages
This spring, enjoy getting outdoors by participating in community events that are environmentally-focused, well organized and fun!
- Mission: Clean Stream – On Saturday, April 6, help protect wildlife and local waterways by eliminating debris from O’Fallon creeks, tree lines, and basins.
- Park Partners Day – On Saturday, April 6, have a great time joining volunteers in getting Civic Park ready for summer picnics and Jammin’ concerts by prepping the playgrounds, pool, and even the landscaping.
- Earth Day – On Saturday, April 20, hands will get a little dirty as we green up the City by planting flowers, mulching trees, sprucing up playgrounds, and cleaning a few creeks and roadsides.
- Global Youth Service Week – The week of April 22- 26, energetic students, scouts and youth groups are invited to participate in hands-on service projects developed specifically for them.
- National Join Hands Day – Gather friends of all ages on Saturday, May 4 for another family-friendly project designed to engage the O’Fallon community on this annualNational Day of Service.
