Question: What do you do with a young child who’s been bitten by a zombie? Answer: If you are the Greenwood family, you lock her in the coat closet.

Please Remain Calm, an original play written by O’Fallon author Carole Lanham for O’FallonTheatreWorks, will be performed at 7 p.m. on October 25-27 and November 1-3 at the O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366.

The play’s synopsis: Trapped in a remote Indiana farmhouse in the 1950s during the spread of a strange new virus, the Greenwoods and their neighbors find themselves in danger of being eaten by crazed victims, and caught up in a battle to save their very souls. As they board the windows and take up arms, this small band of survivors must decide what to do about the child kicking in their closet and the friends banging at their door. If they want to avoid turning into monsters, their only hope is to remain calm.
