O’Fallon Founders’ Day

May, Fort Zumwalt Park

Have you ever milked a cow, washed clothes by hand, seen raw wool spun into thread, or walked on stilts? These are just a few of the free 19th Century activities, games and demonstrations for kids and adults at O’Fallon Founders’ Day each May in Fort Zumwalt Park. Admission and parking are free. The event includes live entertainment, music, and festival food and beverages.

Spring and Fall, O'Fallon Municipal Centre

Featuring community theater at its best and supported by the City’s Cultural Arts Division, O’FallonTheatreWorks produces comedies, dramas and musicals each year on the stage at the O’Fallon Municipal Centre. Learn more.


Tree Lighting Ceremony

November, O'Fallon Municipal Centre

Get in the spirit of the holidays at this family-oriented event! Join the Mayor in counting down to the illumination of a huge, decorated tree in the City Hall rotunda. Hear live choral music, visit Santa, play holiday games, make holiday crafts and more. Vendors will sell holiday-themed decorations and gifts. Concessions will be available for a nominal fee. Admission and kids activities are free. 


Old-Fashioned Holiday Stroll

December, Fort Zumwalt Park

Stroll through the Celebration of Lights display at your own pace and enjoy fireworks, holiday caroling, pictures with Santa, vendors selling holiday crafts and unique gifts, and festival food and beverages. Admission is $2 for ages 3 and older. Watch for signs to parking and shuttle service. No vehicles or carriage rides will be allowed. Learn more.
