The governing body for the City of O'Fallon, Missouri is a Mayor and an 10-member City Council. The Mayor serves a 4-year term and is elected at large. Councilmembers serve three-year terms and are elected by citizens in each of five wards within the City.

The City Council meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 7:30 p.m at O'Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall). The workshop begins at 5:30 p.m.
