Parks and Recreation Intern
The City of O’Fallon is seeking candidates for the position of Intern for the Parks and Recreation Department.
This position will assist students in making an effective transition from the classroom to the professional world. This program is designed to give students the opportunity to explore the parks and recreation field and discover in which areas their interests lie.
Position is responsible for assisting with planning and implementation of a variety of recreation activities planned by the professional staff; to be involved in all various aspects of a successful parks and recreation program. Requirements include 3 years of college, must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays or other irregular hours, as required and CPR certification preferred, or must be able to obtain a first-aid/CPR card.

Mechanic
The City of O’Fallon is seeking applications and or resumes for the position of Mechanic
This position is responsible for evaluating and troubleshooting vehicles and equipment to diagnose and do repairs as needed. This person will also repair vehicle electrical problems, hydraulic and water pressure systems and perform repairs to air conditioning systems.
Minimum qualifications for this position include: Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education, sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.

GIS/Data Analyst
The City of O’Fallon is seeking applications for the position of GIS/Data Analyst for the Planning and Development Department.
This position will be responsible for the following functions: Assist in the design and creation of database applications using Microsoft Access and SQL Server, Maintain and improve existing database applications used by several departments including Building, Planning, Code Enforcement, Finance, and Environmental Services, Occasionally input and update information within the Building and Code Enforcement databases
Applicants must have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Access. Knowledge of GIS software, website functionality and publication principles is preferred. At least one year of experience in programming Microsoft Access database applications. Preferred applicants will have experience in database development from concept to finished product in both local and enterprise environments.
Starting salary is $46,280 annually plus great benefits.

Food Service Workers
The City of O’Fallon is seeking applicants for the part time positions of Food Service Workers.
This position performs complex food service work. Work involves food preparation and service; ensuring prescribed sanitation and safety rules are maintained.
Applicants must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays or other irregular hours; be able to make and receive contacts by telephone and in person efficiently during irregular hours. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 4 hours. Previous experience is preferred.
Starting salary is $7.80 an hour.

Head Swim Coach
The City of O’Fallon is seeking applicants for the seasonal position of Head Swim Coach.
This position provides swimming instruction and oversees the operations of the swim team. This position will also organize and operate swim meets and schedule assistant coaches.
Qualified candidates will have the ability to swim and demonstrate all swim strokes including, but not limited to freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, breaststroke, etc. Applicants must be able to obtain first aid and CPR professional rescuer certification. Must have experience in supervising subordinates and be able to resolve problems. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Program Fitness Instructor
The City of O’Fallon is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Program Fitness Instructor.
This position provides instruction in a variety of fitness classes typically performed at the City pools. The work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, jumping, swimming, stooping, bending crouching or walking. Employee will also be responsible for occasionally lifting of light and heavy items.
Minimum qualifications for this position include: 18 years of age, must be able to obtain first aid and CPR certification, must have or be able to obtain specialized training from a nationally recognized certification.

Swim Lesson Instructor
The City of O’Fallon is seeking candidates for the position of swim lesson instructor.
This position is responsible for instructing swim lessons, providing first aid and emergency rescue as needed. Qualified candidates must also have the ability to provide customer service to patrons and complete records and reports.
Minimum qualifications for this position include: Being 16 years of age, have the ability to lift 80 lbs. Must also have the ability to work in an indoor/outdoor aquatic environment for long periods of time and have the ability to swim and demonstrate all swim strokes including but not limited to freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke.

Pool Cashier
The City of O’Fallon is seeking applications for the position of pool cashier.
This position is responsible for a high level of customer service, cash handling, maintaining a clean and safe work environment and maintaining supplies and insuring an adequate amount is stocked.

Food Service Supervisor
The City of O’Fallon is seeking applicants for the part time position of Food Service Supervisor.
This position is responsible for opening and closing concession stands within the Parks of O’Fallon. Also this position will handle money, make nightly deposits, take customer orders and ensure that the work area is safe and clean.

Head Lifeguard
The City of O’Fallon is accepting applicants for the part-time positions of Head Lifeguard.
This position will provide assistance to patrons, test pool chemicals regularly, evaluate the work of lifeguards and swim instructors. This position will also ensure that the swimming pools are operational during their shift.
Qualified applicants must have prior certification as a lifeguard, must be able to deal with the public, and have 1 to 3 years prior experience as a lifeguard. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Lifeguard
The City of O’Fallon is seeking applications for the positions of Lifeguard.
These positions are responsible for monitoring the safety of patrons in and around the pool, keeping the facility clean and providing customer service to the citizens.
Minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Must be able to lift 50 lbs, swim 200 yards, submerge feet first into 15ft of water and be at least 16 years of age.

Front Desk (part time-RSC)
The City of O’Fallon is accepting applications for the position of part time front desk.
This position is responsible for greeting and assisting with routine inquires and requests and providing a high level of customer service while adhering to the Renaud Spirit Center and City of O’Fallon policies and procedures, Also this position is responsible for answering telephone calls, providing routine information and routing calls to appropriate staff.
