Project HOME



Project HOME (formerly Christmas in July) began in 2005 when there were more deserving homeowners than funds to go around for O’Fallon’s new Home Improvement Loan Program, which is administered by the City’s Community Development Block Grant office.


The office issued an appeal for help to the community, which responded with funds, supplies, and skilled volunteers to tackle the projects.

Project HOME in the community

Over the last three years, we have helped single parents, elderly and disabled residents with: installation of a new furnace, a new air conditioner, new insulation, painting and dry walling, plumbing, electrical work, repair of a garage door and opener, new carpeting, new window blinds, rearranging and refurbishing of furniture, pet grooming, carpet shampooing, general cleaning, and much more.
