Description:  A five year program to replace the old green street signs with white and black (including the city logo) high intensity street signs. Many of the other street signs (stop, yield, speed limit, etc.) are also being replaced to include the black painted back side and the higher reflectivity standards on the front side. Also includes installation of City Limit and Maintenance Begins/Ends signs. This program was started in 2007.

Date: 8/12/2010
Project Status: The sign replacement crew is working to finish up the Norwood Hills subdivision this week. They will move on to the Glengate Estates subdivision next week and anticipate that subdivision will take about two weeks to complete.

Project Status: Currently working in Washington's Crossing. Glengate Estates and Norwood Hills are next.

Project Status: Currently working down Laura Hill Rd working in the subdivision on the north side.

Project Status: I am currently working off of Knaust and Laura Hill area I had to skip 2 subdivisions off of Mexico & Schrader Farm Dr and off of Barrington due to being out of u-channel posts. These subdivisions will be getting almost completely resigned and I don’t have the materials to complete this. The order should be in around 6 weeks.

Project Status: Currently working in the Windsong subdivision off Veteran's Memorial Parkway, then headed east.

Project Status: Currently working in from HWY K east to Belleau Creek and north and south from Veteran's Memorial Pkwy to the Mexico Road subdivisions. We just finished with the subdivisions from Bryan to HWY K and VMP to Mexico. There are a couple arterial signs that still need to be installed.

Project Status: Currently working in Great Warrior with sign replacement. There are a few remaining signs north of I-70 still remaining. Waiting for clearer weather to get caught up.

Project Status: Working in subdivisions along Westridge and Cordes areas, as well as near Assumption.

Project Status: Working in subdivisions along Walden Pond and along Civic Park. Still have some arterial streets to complete. Most streets are complete north of I-70.
