O'Fallon Police Chaplains



The O'Fallon Police Chaplains are men and women of a religious order available to assist department personnel and the community in times of crisis.


Chaplains have attended traning sessions at the St. Louis Police Academy and the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC), in addition to their training as clergy or members of a religious order.


Chaplains are available to assist in case of:

  • Accidential death
  • Domestic disturbance
  • Domestic violence
  • Homicide
  • Hostage situations
  • Natural death
  • Natural disasters
  • Neighborhood disturbance
  • Serious accident
  • Suicide attempt
  • Suicide completed

The O'Fallon community is served through the Donald Lombard Fund, a charitable fund supported by gifts from businesses, churches, clubs and individuals.


Through this fund the chaplains serve:

  • Stranded motorists with food, gas, lodging and transportation
  • Needy residents with utility bill assistance and groceries
