O’Fallon City Administrator Bonnie Therrien announced her resignation effective February 28, 2017, in a letter to Mayor Bill Hennessy and the O’Fallon City Council. Therrien has served in that position since July 2013. Assistant City Administrator Lenore Toser-Aldaz has been named interim City Administrator, effective immediately.

“I am grateful to Bonnie for her service to O’Fallon, our residents and our businesses,” said Mayor Hennessy. “Bonnie is a true professional, and she has helped our City move in a very positive direction over these past four years. She was a strong supporter of our City staff, and I appreciate all she’s done for our employees during her time with O’Fallon.”

In her resignation letter, Therrien thanked the employees of the City.

“Every Department gives their all to the residents in fulfilling the mission of O’Fallon,” she wrote. “I was proud and humbled to work beside each and every employee through the years.”

Therrien will continue to serve in an advisory role with the City through August 2018 in order to assist with the transition to a new administrator and support ongoing projects. Recruitment for the position will begin later this spring.
