In commemoration of the 71th anniversary of the bombing of the U.S. Pacific Fleet stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on Sunday, December 7, 1941, the public is invited to attend the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony beginning at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, in the O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon Missouri 63366.
The ceremony will pay tribute to all World War II veterans, with a special dedication honoring Mel Schneider and recently deceased WWII veterans. Tom Korth of the O’Fallon Veterans Commission will be the master of ceremonies. Rear Admiral Jack Zerr, United States Navy, Retired, will be the special guest speaker. Color and honor guard units from local veterans’ organizations and local students will participate in the ceremony.
...The public is invited to join in honoring U.S. veterans at a Veterans Day Ceremony beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 11. The ceremony will be held at O’Fallon Veterans Memorial Walk, 800 Belleau Creek Road, O’Fallon, MO 63366. Free parking is available.
The ceremony will honor all U.S. veterans, with welcoming remarks by Mayor Bill Hennessy, and remarks by keynote speaker Brigadier General Edmund T. Beckette.

The City of O'Fallon's "Tribute to First Responders" took place on Tuesday, September11. The Patriot Day ceremony was held at the First Responders 9-11 Memorial outside the O'Fallon Police Department at the O'Fallon Municipal Centre.
The public is invited to attend the POW/MIA Remembrance Day Ceremony at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 21, at O’Fallon Veterans Memorial Walk, 800 Belleau Creek Road, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366. The annual event is held on behalf of men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who remain missing in action or held as prisoners of war.
The keynote speaker for the ceremony will be Col. Jack Jackson. The event includes the posting of colors, lighting of candles, laying of the wreath, a rifle salute, taps, and music by the O’Fallon Community Concert Band with vocalist Kathy Lawton-Brown.
