O’Fallon homeowners in need of roof repairs, replacement of aging furnaces, air conditioning and other home needs may be able to get help through O’Fallon’s Home Improvement Program. The program provides applicants who qualify with zero-interest, forgivable loans of up to $5,000 on a first come, first-served basis. The loans are forgiven if the homeowner continues to live in the house without selling for five years.

“With winter temperatures dropping into the single digits and summer days hitting 100 degrees or more, keeping your home safe and comfortable can be a challenge with unreliable heating and cooling systems,” said Jessica Hawkins, O’Fallon’s Public Assistance Specialist. “That’s why we’re encouraging resident-homeowners to see if they qualify for the City’s Home Improvement Program. We’re processing applications now, but funds are limited for this great program.”
