Open House scheduled for I-70 Outer Road Project

The City of O’Fallon will hold an Open House regarding the I-70 Outer Road Project on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366. The public is invited to attend the open house, which will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room on the first floor.

A formal presentation will not be made. Instead, displays will be posted showing the purpose and need, some history, and the proposed improvements. O’Fallon City staff and representatives from engineering firm EFK Moen will be on hand to answer questions, and comment sheets will be available for the public to fill out.

OnlyInYourState.com rates O’Fallon as one of Missouri’s safest cities

Drawing on F.B.I. statistics, the website OnlyInYourState.com recently rated O’Fallon as the fifth safest of Missouri cities with populations of more than 10,000. At about 82,000 residents, O’Fallon is the largest City to be named among the “Top 10” safest cities, and it is the only St. Charles County municipality on the list.

“We can be extremely proud that O’Fallon continues to be a safe place to live, work and play,” said Mayor Bill Hennessy. “It is a testament to our residents, our businesses and the men and women of our O’Fallon Police Department. Your dedication to caring for your homes, your neighborhoods and our entire community is the reason we have received this honor.”
