With the reconstruction of Elaine Drive progressing, this week drivers will see both Elaine Drive and North Central opened to two-way traffic. However, construction also is moving into a new phase as improvements get underway to the intersection of North Central and Elaine Drive. As a result, North Central will be temporarily closed at the intersection of Elaine Drive, preventing traffic from turning onto either street at the closure. Both streets are off West Terra Lane in North O’Fallon. Message boards are in place to alert drivers.
